Michael Murphy serves as the Vice President of Advanced Electronic Solutions (AES), a division of Teledyne’s Engineered Services Segment. In this capacity, he oversees the delivery of best-in-class Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), which encompass innovative supply chain and testing solutions for sophisticated DoD and Space projects.
Murphy and his team are dedicated to meeting client expectations by customizing their approach to each program’s requirements, ensuring AES consistently delivers high-quality products. Beyond EMS services, Murphy frequently collaborates across the Teledyne portfolio to aid in the design and implementation of global enterprise solutions for customers.
Murphy joined Teledyne early in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in operations management, business development, and supply chain innovation, along with a passion for leading change and growth. His career includes global leadership roles in publicly traded Fortune 100/500 EMS and semiconductor distribution companies, a senior leadership role and part of the founding establishment of a private equity EMS platform company, and the successful founding and sale of a high-reliability EMS company to an international bidder.
He holds degrees from both Clarkson University and the State University of New York.
